How usage is counted

Your monthly allowance is measured in credits. Most operations cost 1 credit each; a few compute-intensive operations may cost more, and each capability's cost is documented before use. One allowance is shared across every capability and every access method — a credit consumed over REST, an SDK, or MCP all draws down the same limit. See usage & limits.

Allowances reset on the 1st of each month (UTC). Your monthly allowance is a hard limit: exceeding it returns HTTP 429 with a usage_limit_exceeded error and the recommended upgrade. Manage everything from your dashboard.
