Privacy Policy

Who we are

Zapinner (Zapinner) provides developer APIs that add ready-made capabilities to your software. This policy applies to our website, documentation, dashboard, and API at https://zapinner.com/api/v1.

Data we collect

• Account data. Your name, email address, and authentication credentials, managed by our authentication provider. We store password hashes, never plaintext passwords.
• API keys and usage. The API keys we issue you, plus per-request metadata such as timestamp, endpoint, response status, and the number of records processed. We use this to meter usage, enforce plan limits, and bill accurately.
• Request and response content. The payloads you send to our APIs and the results we return, retained only as long as needed to process the request, support you, and detect abuse.
• Billing data. Handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

How we use data

• To provide, secure, and improve the APIs and dashboard.
• To meter usage and bill you according to your plan.
• To detect, prevent, and investigate abuse or fraud.
• To respond to your support requests and send service notices.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use the content of your API requests to train models for other customers.

Sharing and subprocessors

We share data only with the service providers that run Zapinner: our hosting and database providers, our authentication provider, and Stripe for payments. Each processes data on our behalf under their own security commitments. We may also disclose data when legally required.

Retention and deletion

Usage metadata is retained to support billing and abuse detection. Request and response content is retained only as long as operationally necessary. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing privacy@zapinner.com. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or fraud- prevention purposes.

Your choices

• Access, correct, or delete your account data.
• Rotate or revoke your API keys at any time in the dashboard.
• Export your usage history from the dashboard.

Cookies and local storage

We use strictly essential cookies for authentication, security, sessions, billing, and the API dashboard, plus optional, privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) that load only after you consent.
